Technical SEO & growth

Technical SEO, Core Web Vitals and analytics engineered into the build from commit one — not bolted on once the traffic fails to arrive.

Most SEO problems are engineering problems

Canonicals that contradict each other. Four URLs serving one page. A render path that hides content behind a splash animation. Three hundred kilobytes of fonts inlined into every document. None of that is fixed with content, and all of it is decided in the build.

What we do

  • Crawl and index architecture: one canonical URL per page, correct redirects, a sitemap that reflects reality, and a robots policy that does not throttle the crawlers you want.
  • Core Web Vitals as build gates: LCP, INP and CLS budgeted per route and enforced in CI — performance budgets that actually hold.
  • Structured data: organisation, breadcrumb, article, product and FAQ markup that validates, and that we do not invent facts to fill.
  • Information architecture: one page per intent, internally linked, rather than six topics competing on one URL.
  • Analytics that survive contact with reality: server-side events and conversion tracking wired in properly, so the numbers in the dashboard match the orders in the database.
Content cannot rescue a site the crawler cannot resolve, and no amount of keywords will outrun a three-second first paint.

Honest measurement

We report on what changed and what it did, including when the answer is "not much yet". Search takes months, and a studio that promises otherwise is selling something else.

How an engagement runs

We audit first, and the audit is technical: how the site resolves, how many URLs serve each page, what the render path actually does before content appears, what the crawl logs say, and where the structured data is wrong or absent. That produces a prioritised list with the reasoning attached, not a score out of a hundred.

Then we implement — usually in the codebase, because most of the findings are build problems. Core Web Vitals become budgets enforced in CI, so the fixes hold instead of regressing the next time someone ships a hero animation.

Common questions

How long before we see results?

Technical fixes — indexing, canonicals, render path, Core Web Vitals — show up in weeks. Ranking on competitive terms takes months, and depends on content and authority as much as engineering. Any studio promising otherwise is selling something else.

Do you write content too?

We write technical content well, and we build the information architecture that decides which page targets which intent. For high-volume editorial programmes we work alongside your writers rather than replacing them.

Is this different from what an SEO agency does?

The overlap is the audit. The difference is that we can fix what the audit finds, because most of it lives in the build — a render path that hides content, four URLs serving one page, fonts inlined into every document. Recommendations nobody can implement are not worth much.

Send the brief. A senior engineer reads every one and comes back with an architecture, a plan and a quote written against your actual scope — usually within a day.
